Oh, the Places You'll Go 1 - Where are you going?
This week we begin our new 6 week series called Oh the Places You'll Go. I will be speaking and the scripture passage will come from Matthew 7:24-29. The title of the message is: Where Are You Going? So often there is a tension between where we want to end up in life and the path we choose to get there. We fail to understand that having good intentions alone is not enough. Like Charlie Brown, we wrongly believe there’s something to be said for trying hard. However, we need to understand why, in spite of our good intentions, we may have ended up at the wrong destination with our finances, our marriages, our careers, or a host of other dreams. So how do we get from where we are to where we truly want to be? That will be the focus of our upcoming 6 week sermon series to begin our new year:
