Padre Pio, or Francesco Forgione was born on May 25th, 1887 in Pietrelcina, Italy. He was born as the second child to a poor family of peasant farmers, who were also very religious. Francesco was a very religious child, and by the time he was five years old, he had started receiving visions from God! The visions he received were both Holy and Evil!
