Sometimes being really tired can make you grumpy, or really slow you down.. This clip is from a Phil Keaggy solo concert he performed on Aug 16, 1991 at Cranberry High School in Cranberry, Pa. Even though he was jet-lagged, Phil played over two and half hours of stellar guitar. His vocals were just as amazing.. This is from about the two hour mark of the show and I personally think Phil was getting a bit "giddy" and was in an "anything goes" mood. Starting with the fun from the audience, his audience requests set list and his alternate tuning, TIME went into some unusual territory. At this time, BEYOND NATURE had just been released and Phil was using primitive looping (compared to set up these days). This version has it all! Scat vocals, blues licks, singing into the sound hole of his guitar and more.. a nice stereo mix to enjoy! Crank it up!!!
