Your heart starts racing, your childhood dreams are coming true, NASA wants ME to fly helicopters for them? Yes, NASA wanted me to fly a drone to help explain how their new soil moisture monitoring satellite worked. I wasn't exactly going to space, but damn it was close and to this day is still one of my favorite gigs, if only for name recognition. That's right, I flew helicopters for NASA. Little drone helicopters, but, well, you understand the excitement.
