They are considered the world’s most trafficked mammal. It is very rare to see a pangolin in the wild. It’s even more rare to see a lion interacting with a pangolin. A lion bite is capable of generating 4,450 newtons of force. But when the pangolin curls up in a ball, the lion cannot find a good place to bite through the hard scales of the pangolin.
