Israeli and Palestinian violence, sectarian Islamic clashes, and mending global conflict are discussed with Sarah Cochran of One Blue. Propaganda that fuels religious turmoil, as well as biased misrepresentations of Islam and how to bridge the gap between people that have been at odds for centuries is discussed, in addition to the concrete steps that can be taken to change the course of hatred--all in this Buzzsaw interview hosted by Sean Stone. GUEST BIO: Sarah Cochran began her career as a freelance journalist covering regional conflict in the Middle East and South Asia at the Department of State, where she was also part of the Women's Empowerment Action Team on Education, suggesting ways media can be used to make education more accessible to women and girls in Muslim-majority countries.
