Lily Collins Lily Collins (Samantha) has already gained praise for her numerous roles in the industry and has become one of the most sought after young actresses in business. Collins made her film debut in the 2010 Academy Award® nominated film THE BLIND SIDE along side Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw. Collins has begun production on THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES, playing the lead in the first film based on the best-selling series of young adult fantasy books by Cassandra Clare. Directed by Harald Zwart, the Sony Pictures film follows Collins as Clary Fray, a young girl whose mom is attacked and taken from their home in New York City by an unknown creature, and sets out on an adventurous quest into an alternate New York of demons, warlocks, vampires and more. Collins will return to the theaters next in the independent film THE ENGLISH TEACHER starring opposite Julianne Moore, Nathan Lane and Greg Kinnear. The film follows an English teacher as her life is disrupted when a former student returns to her small town after failing as a playwright in New York. Collins was last seen in the classic fairytale MIRROR MIRROR directed by Tarsem Singh as the lead Snow White with an all-star cast including Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen and Armie Hammer as Prince Andrew Alcott; and in ABDUCTION where she starred opposite Taylor Lautner, Sigourney Weaver, and Alfred Molina. In 2011, Lily starred in the Screen Gems film PRIEST opposite Paul Bettany, Karl Urban and Stephen Moyer. Collins also appeared on the small screen in 2009 in the final two episodes of the first season of the CW drama "90210." Collins played the character of Phoebe, a West Beverly High School student and rival of Annie. Collins is a published journalist and experienced television host. She covered the presidential inauguration for Nickelodeon, both the Democratic and Republican National Convention for SEVENTEEN Magazine, she was a contributing writer for CosmoGIRL! Magazine, a host for Nickelodeon's "Hollywood Hang" and "Countdown to Kids' Choice!" (Nickelodeon's unique pre-show to the 2009 Kids' Choice Awards) as well as hosted "Live from the Red Carpet at the Oscars" for the E! Network. Stuck In Love The cast includes Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly, Lily Collins, Logan Lerman, Nat Wolff, Liana Liberato and Kristen Bell. From first-time writer-director Josh Boone and Judy Cairo, the producer of CRAZY HEART, comes a comically rich yet emotionally raw romantic comedy about a family of writers who have nearly lost the plot of their own love stories. Three years after his divorce, acclaimed novelist Bill Borgens (Academy Award® nominee Greg Kinnear - Little Miss Sunshine) is still obsessed with his ex-wife Erica (Academy Award® winner Jennifer Connelly - A Beautiful Mind), who left him for another man. Meanwhile, his fiercely independent daughter Samantha (Lily Collins, Mirror Mirror) is publishing her first novel but refusing to deal with real life - in the shape of diehard romantic Lou (Logan Lerman, The Perks of Being a Wallflower). Meanwhile, Sam's younger brother, Rusty (Nat Wolff - Peace, Love and Misunderstanding) - also an aspiring writer - gets too much of a taste of real life when his dream girl turns out to have a troubled past... When these three romantic situations intertwine with poignant and hilarious results, the Borgens family finds itself hurtling towards surprising resolutions and revelations, after which none of them will ever be the same. With STUCK IN LOVE, Boone takes on the theme of family dysfunction from his own fresh POV, one both unflinchingly hilarious and distinctly hopeful. Featuring a diverse cast of award winners and up-and-comers -- and driven by a resonant score from members of the indie rock band Bright Eyes and a soundtrack from some of today's hottest artists--the film reveals how even amidst the travails of marriage, divorce, parenting and coming of age, the family ties that trip us up can turn into a lifeline.
