Katie Hayes of the University of Toronto, and Melanie Goodchild of the Waterloo Institute for Social Innovation and Resilience, join Steve Paikin to discuss the connections between climate change and mental health. From post-traumatic stress disorder in the wake of a climate disaster such as a hurricane, to food insecurity and depression among the Inuit, new research is starting to shed light on the need to factor mental health concerns into the climate change discussion.
