Frankie, our beardy who we've had for almost 2 years, showed her first signs of aggression this morning. I opened her vivarium to feed locusts and it was most unwelcome. Granted, she was probably a bit too cold as he tends to play her heat lamp and blew the bulb yesterday, this may have contributed towards her very defensive mood this morning. We do have a heated mat under the sand which she wasn't on, I tried to pick her up and put on over the warm area, but really didn't want to be touched! Like I said, this is the first time she's acted in this way ever. I left a couple of locusts in his viv and closed up and left for work. Figuring he's better off left alone. Anyone else had this happen? UPDATE: This is down to the time of morning, she really really doesn't like any human interaction first thing in the morning. Nothing to do with sand either.. ;)
