By: WJAC Web Staff BELLEFONTE, Pa. -- Centre County is getting another visit from a popular reality show, this time from "Restaurant Impossible." Italian restaurant Mama Lucrezia is the talk of the town and producers of the show announced they will film at the location Wednesday. "The show should bring a lot to the restaurant and bring business to town, [which would] be good thing to have in Bellefonte," Antoinette Fisher-Fry said. The restaurant is run and owned by two sisters and is named after their mother, who passed away when they were young. Since the announcement people have been stopping in at the restaurant in hopes of being part of the filming for the grand re-opening, which is slated for Thursday. "We thought we'd get our name on the list but [it] booked real fast," John Fry said. Nearly 80 volunteers were needed to help with the show and the producers said they received more than 250 in just several hours. The goal of the show is to save struggling restaurants from failure; the crew has $10,000 and two days to pull it off. During that time experts will update the menu, retrain staff and remodel the dining room. Residents who remember the location from the past said they would go to the restaurant after school, and get crackers and Cokes. "Restaurant Impossible" airs on the Food Network Wednesday nights.
