In this video, we'll go over the top 3 ways that are proven to get the phone ringing and bring in new business. The best way to get new business online is by ranking high on Google's search results. If you can make it to the top of Google for your specific service, your phone will be ringing off the hook. This happens through a process known as Search Engine Optimization or SEO. SEO is less expensive than paying for ads, however it is a long-term strategy and will take several months before you should expect to see results. The next best way to advertise online is with Google Adwords. This is an auction-like system based on keywords. You create an ad that shows up based on certain keywords you have bid on that relate to your industry. For example, a Plumber might bid on keywords like "Leak Repair" or "Clogged Sink" and then create an ad to run each time these keywords are searched for. Adwords is a fast system that will get your ads out fast and in any city. The problem is that bidding on keywords can get very expensive, especially in larger cities and in competitive service areas. Finally, Facebook ads can be very useful and effective when it comes to advertising online. You can easily target a specific audience and then also re-target select groups to build up a familiarization with potential clients. The ads can be personal, but people on Facebook are not usually in full-blown "BUY" mode like they are when searching on Google.
