Lightweight does not mean Fragile... the misconception among some consumers is that our lightweight plastic makes the Barracuda kayaks fragile..For an example we show here in this hammer test, that is not true...The plastic we use is our own unique, homogenised, blend..meaning the UV stabilisers and strengthening agents are built into the Barracuda plastic (other vacuum formed brands use a capped ABS plastic) ..the Glue used to join our kayaks creates a chemical bond, effectively welding the pieces together... if in doubt please contact us and we would be happy to hear your thoughts. www.barracudakayaks.com/
