October 20, 2015 FPRI teamed up with the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia and the Global Philadelphia Association to assemble a panel of experts to explore ideas for expanding global education in the city and to get participants to think about Philadelphia’s role on the world stage. Panelists will address how a global education impacts the future development of the city, what current initiatives exist to inform and connect young Philadelphians with the rest of the world, and how students and residents can work with government and other organizations to cultivate Philadelphia as a “global city.” Following the panel, attendees tested their knowledge in a three-round, interactive geopolitical team “trivia” game.
