November 17, 2016 Noted Iraqi-American Author, Kana Makiya receives the 12th Annual Benjamin Franklin Award for Public Service at the 2016 FPRI Annual Dinner. Following the award presentation, he engages in a conversation with Trudy Rubin of the Philadelphia Inquirer about what went wrong during the Iraq war from the Iraqi perspective, and what lessons we can draw for the future of the region.
