Over the past twenty years, Braude has lived and worked in North Africa, the Levant, the Gulf States, and Iran, and is fluent in Arabic, Hebrew and Farsi. He appears frequently in Arab print and broadcast media and is an advisor to the Al-Mesbar Studies and Research Center in Dubai.
