On the 20th anniversary of NAFTA, the Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE), the Embassy of Mexico, and the McKinsey Global Institute cohosted a conference on July 15, 2014, to present new research challenging false claims and exaggerations about the agreement's harms. Lindsay Oldenski, PIIE and Georgetown University, presented panel II, "American Manufacturing--The Growth since NAFTA."
