Roger Albinyana, Catalonia’s secretary of foreign affairs, presents his case for Catalan self-determination, and the potential political and economic scenarios that could follow. He spoke at the Peterson Institute for International Economics on September 9, 2015. Also at the event, Institute Senior Fellow Angel Ubide assessed the economic disadvantages of such secession from Spain.
