The Peterson Institute for International Economics hosted the Washington launch of the E15 Initiative on March 9, 2016. The event highlighted the recently launched E15 Report, which offers detailed suggestions for improving governance of the global trade and investment system in the 21st century. The expert panel discussing the report included PIIE Senior Fellows Gary Clyde Hufbauer and Robert Z. Lawrence, as well as Richard Samans, member of the managing board of the World Economic Forum, and Ricardo Meléndez-Ortiz, cofounder and chief executive of the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD).
