The Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) and the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) hosted the conference "The Plaza at 30" on April 7, 2016. Adam S. Posen, PIIE, and Domenico Lombardi, CIGI, opened the conference, followed by a conversation with Lawrence H. Summers, Harvard University and former secretary of the US Treasury. The conference also marked the publication of the book "International Monetary Cooperation: Lessons from the Plaza Accord after Thirty Years," edited by C. Fred Bergsten and Russell A. Green.
