April 30, 2011 - New NAS member Charles Sawyers of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Howard Hughes Medical Institute presents his work to NAS membership. He investigates investigating the signaling pathways that drive the growth of cancer cells, with an eye toward designing new treatment options for patients with chronic myeloid leukemia, prostate cancer, and glioblastoma.
