April 29, 2017 - Eberhardt’s research revealed stereotypic racial associations in basic visual processing and their implications in criminal justice processes. Ranging from perceptual, neuroscientific, and social experiments to archival data, samples including college students, adult citizens, and police officers produce rigorous evidence of rapidly dehumanized perceptual processing.
