The 8th annual Genealogy Fair was held at the National Archives on April 18 and 19, 2012. Some of the attendees shared their family stories they had found in the 1940 Census, which opened to the public on April 2, 2012. You can search the 1940 Census for free at 1940census.archives.gov. There is no name index for the 1940 Census, but you can help create one!
