Enduring Vietnam: An American Generation and Its War

submitted by Marvin's Underground Evening Lectures on 10/11/18 1

The Vietnam War is largely recalled as a mistake, and the veterans of that war remain largely anonymous figures. Through Enduring Vietnam, professor James Wright recounts the experiences of the young Americans who fought in Vietnam and of the families who grieved those who did not return. The book depicts the cruelty of this war, and its quiet acts of courage. A book signing will follow the program.
