Lecture three of the 2017 Yale University Dwight H. Terry Lectures delivered by Kwame Anthony Appiah, Professor of Philosophy and Professor of Law at New York University. April 25, 2017 Kwame Anthony Appiah is a Ghanaian-American philosopher, cultural theorist, and novelist whose interests include political and moral theory, the philosophy of language and mind, and African intellectual history. Professor Appiah’s major current work has to do with the connection between theory and practice in moral life. He is also working on a larger project exploring some of the many ways in which we now think about religion.
