Dr. Richard Haass, president of the Council on Foreign Relations, joined Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs Director, Graham Allison in the JFK Jr. Forum for a conversation on American foreign policy. Dr. Haass addressed topics ranging from reflections on the two U.S. wars in Iraq to the Obama administration's response to the current crisis in Syria. Questions raised by the audience included the influence of public opinion on U.S. foreign policy and the increased strategic importance of the Asia-Pacific.
