Panelists Chrisette Michele, American Grammy Award-winning R&B and Soul Singer-Songwriter and Clint Smith, poet, author, and PhD Ed. Candidate at Harvard University, joined moderator Karen Jackson-Weaver, Dean for Degree Programs & Student Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School, for a panel discussion to reflect on the use of the arts for social change. The panelists discussed racial issues currently being faced in the United States, as well as the impact music and poetry can have on people's lives, the importance of expression, and how to use art to effect social change.
