submitted by Marvin's Underground Evening Lectures on 10/10/18 1

The Museum of Natural and Cultural History joins the international science community in celebrating the birth month of Charles Darwin. Frances White, UO professor of anthropology, discusses the relationships between fighting, sex and social bonding among wild apes, and how it can inform our understanding of human evolution. Dr. White's presentation is part of "Darwin Days: Primate Perspectives," a speakers' series presented by the UO Museum of Natural and Cultural History in celebration of Charles Darwin's birthday.
