Cyber threats from nation states such as China, Russia, North Korea and Iran are exponentially increasing and have evolved in new ways that pose even greater risks to the U.S. Homeland and our critical infrastructure. Additionally, criminal organizations and terrorist groups, such as ISIS, continue to build and acquire cyber tools and capabilities that are causing greater harm to the American people. This hearing will provide Members of the Subcommittee an opportunity to discuss these emerging cyber threats and to hear from academia and technology experts in the private sector about what more Congress can do to secure our networks and protect Americans.
