Like access to healthy goods, adequate global food supply is a necessary condition of food security; these presentations will focus on changing supply-side issues and enabling agricultural production. Christopher Delgado will discuss how variations in global food supply and prices are increasingly relevant under globalization to potential variation in local food supply and local food prices. Catherine Bertini will explain how it is critical to secure that those involved in agriculture have the tools and education they need, especially women and girls who are the industry's primary workers in Africa and Asia.
