The sex industry has split feminism and politics alike, with successive governments failing to legislate on it fully either way. Zoe Alipranti is a History student at Trinity and a University level competitive debater. Ashish Kumar is a Law Masters student at Pembroke, and ranked as the top debater in the world at the recent World Universities Debating Championship ****************** OPPOSITION ****************** Inna Shevchenko is the leader of international feminist movement FEMEN. Its activists, or 'sextremists', fight all manifestations of patriarchy, especially dictatorship, religion, and the sex industry. Josh Simons is a PPS finalist at St John's and former Editor of the Tab and Varisty. He spent the summer completing a piece of research into the sex industry and trafficking in India, to be published with the University in March. Imogen Sandler is a competitive debater at Christ Church, Oxford. She writes for WomCam Zine and ran an investigation on sex workers in Oxford. She is an Ex-President and founding member of the Christ Church Feminist Society.
