July 17, 2012 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM Elizabeth Warren, an American bankruptcy law expert, Harvard Law School professor, and Democratic Party candidate in the 2012 United States Senate election in Massachusetts, will discuss the challenges facing the nation and her views on what should be done based on her life experience and recent service as Assistant to the President and Special Advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau under President Barack Obama. Veteran journalist Christopher Lydon will moderate. Please note that this is a public forum and not a campaign event. The Library has also extended an invitation to Senator Scott Brown (R-MA) to participate in a separate forum with a similar format.
