Patrick Hemingway bestowed the 2015 PEN Hemingway Award to Arna Bontemps Hemenway for Elegy on Kinderklavier. The ceremony also included the presentation of the 2015 PEN New England Award winners: Kevin Birmingham in nonfiction, Wesley McNair in poetry, and Carolyn Chute in fiction. Ann Patchett, author of Bel Canto, Truth & Beauty: A Friendship, and A State of Wonder, delivered the keynote.
