40th Anniversary PEN Hemingway Awards

Patrick Hemingway bestows the 2016 PEN Hemingway Award for best first published work of fiction by an American author. James Wood, staff writer at The New Yorker and author of How Fiction Works, delivers the keynote address. The PEN New England Awards in Nonfiction, Poetry, and Fiction will be presented at the ceremony. The Kennedy Library is the major repository of Ernest Hemingway’s papers. 2016 PEN Hemingway Award Winner: Ottessa Moshfegh for Eileen Finalists: S.M.
