Mitchell Marcus, Senior and Team Manager for Coronado Varsity Basketball team helps to close out Coronado's District Championship 31-1 season with the final basket! As a special needs student and team champion, this was the first time his coach allowed him to wear the team uniform and to play in a game. With 15 seconds remaining in the championship game and in an amazing show of sportsmanship, Coronado's opponent, a Franklin player, passed the ball to Mitchell to give him another chance to make the basket after several missed attempts. Fans from both schools cheered and stormed the floor to celebrate Mitchell.
