Eric Schmidt, Executive Chairman of Google, and Jared Cohen, Director of Google Ideas explore these questions in their new book, 'The New Digital Age: Reshaping the Future of Peoples, Nations and Business'. With their combined knowledge and experiences, they take on some of the toughest challenges raised through the proliferation of digital technologies and hyperconnectivity in the 21st century. Professor Ngaire Woods, Dean of the Blavatnik School of Government, met with these two leading global thinkers in technology and foreign affairs and invited them to give their widely anticipated, transformational vision of the future. Eric Schmidt is one of Silicon Valley's great leaders, having taken Google from a small startup to one of the world's most influential companies. He is a member of the Blavatnik School's International Advisory Board. Jared Cohen is the director of Google Ideas and a former adviser to secretaries of state Condoleezza Rice and Hillary Clinton.
