Kimiko Hahn, author of eight collections, finds her material from disparate sources--whether exhumation (The Artist's Daughter) or classical Japanese texts (The Narrow Road to the Interior). Rarified fields of science trigger her latest work in Toxic Flora. Hahn has received a number of awards, most recently a 2010 Guggenheim Fellowship. She is a distinguished professor in the MFA Program in Creative Writing & Literary Translation at Queens College, CUNY. holloway.english.berkeley.edu/
