Mr. Windshuttle talked about his book The Killing of History: How Literary Critics and Social Theorists are Murdering Our Past, published by Encounter Books. In the book, the author attacks certain academic schools of thought, such as postmodernism and poststructuralism, arguing that the proponents of such theories are politicizing the humanities and corrupting higher education.
