Kluge Fellow Josep Simon spoke on the role of pedagogy and the importance of international scientific communication in the making of modern science, particularly physics. Speaker Biography: Josep Simon completed his thesis on 19th-century physics teaching in international perspective. With extensive training in the curatorship of scientific instruments at museums in Valencia and Oxford, he is author of a guide for novices to instrument cataloging and co-author of a catalog of physics instruments in the Valencia collection.
