Approximately 60 middle school students accompanied by their families gathered at the Library of Congress to celebrate as winners of the "Do the Write Thing Challenge." A primary initiative of the National Campaign to Stop Violence, each year students are asked to write about their personal experiences with violence and make a personal commitment to ending violence in their lives.
