Czech filmmaker Lukas Pribyl discussed his four documentary films based on 400 hours of interviews recorded in 25 countries on five continents. Each film describes one destination of Nazi transports and one unique mode of survival in extreme conditions. Co-sponsored by the Embassy of the Czech Republic. Speaker Biography: Lukas Pribyl is director of the Czech Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, Israel. He has studied at Brandeis University, the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Columbia University and Central European University in Budapest. Pribyl has published on various aspects of Jewish history and curated exhibits at the Jewish Museum in Prague. He was the first director of the European Shoah Legacy Institute.
