Speaker Biography: Kevin Schwartz is a Kluge Fellow at the Library of Congress studying the mapping the transregional production and circulation of commemorative texts of Persian poets in the 19th Century. He has served as Middle East chair at the U.S. Naval Academy and a social science research council post-doctorate fellow for transregional research and visiting scholar at the Roshan Institute for Persian Studies at the University of Maryland.
