Speaker Biography: Bahiyyih Nakhjavani was born in Iran, raised in Uganda, and educated in the U.K. and the United States. She has taught literature and creative writing in many countries, is the author of non-fiction as well as novels, and has adapted Persian poetry into English during her career as a teacher and a writer.
