Speaker Biography: Paul Salzman is an emeritus professor of English Literature from La Trobe University and recently appointed as professorial fellow at the University of Newcastle in Australia. He has published widely on early modern literature, and his most recent book is "Literature and Politics in the 1620s: 'Whisper's Counsells'".
