Two of our patients walking using our prosthetic legs manufactured in and donated by our clinic. One patient is using this new leg for the very first time and yet he is walking amazingly well. The second patient walks and also rides a bicycle for the first time in many years. The legs are manufactured in our workshop: Centro de Miembros Artificiales in La Paz Bolivia and incorporate the LEGS/LIMBS poly-centric M1 knee from Le Tourneau University. All our patients are low-income and have no where else to turn for prosthetic services except our center. Even the government sends patients to our center since they do not have the facilities to provide for these patients.
