Here are my top pros and cons of living in Spain. I have lived in Madrid for 5 years and talk about the advantages and disadvantages from my experiences of living in this fascinating country. I discuss typical topics such as food, weather, lifestyle and more in-depth issues such as self-employment, the education system and embracing a new culture. I try to always have a positive outlook on things but I strongly believe it is important to be realistic about things as well which is why I have also talked about the cons of living in Spain. These are not reasons not to do it, more just things to be aware of so you don't have any bad surprises or unrealistic expectations.
