This week as we move into the fall, we begin a new 5 week series in the book of Jeremiah called In Over My Head in which we will look at the life of Jeremiah andand meet a prophet who is called by God to accomplish an incredibly difficult task in a seemingly impossible context. For 40 years, God will give him a difficult message to share with people who will reject it and who will do everything in their power to silence him. He will experience great pain, continually wrestle with fatigue, and at times even despair of life. But as we look at his story, we will learn from him how to draw upon the unlimited resources of a God who is more than able to help us overcome those situations where we are absolutely, completely in over our heads
