In this video we're going to show you how to change the date and time on a DSC Power Series Security Alarm Panel Icon Keypad. At least twice per year you will need to change the clocks on your DSC security alarm monitoring system. This will require you manually changing the time on the keypad yourself. This video will show you how. Tools Needed: Access to the DSC Keypad System Master Code (Disclaimer - Call our Monitoring Station if you have any questions prior to proceeding) Move to your DSC Keypad and Press the * button followed by 6 Enter your system’s master code (If you do not know your system’s master code, call FMC’s Service Department). The green check mark will turn off. Press 1 to Select Time and Date programming Using the number keys, enter the time (in HH:MM format) and date (in MM:DD:YY format). When complete, there will be two beeps and the green check mark will re-appear. After a couple of seconds the newly entered date and time will re-appear. Press the # Key to exit programming.
