FINAL CUT PRO TV – FCPX.TV One of the main tools a video editor has at their disposal for working with audio is EQ. EQ is short for equalization or equilizer, which is another word for fancy tone controls. An equilizer adjusts the frequencies of audio. Since video editors are visual, it would be nice if we could actually see audio frequencies. That would help us understand how to adjust them with an equilizer. In this tutorial, I'm going to show you one of my go to audio plugins, the Channel EQ, and show you how to view audio frequencies in Final Cut Pro X.
