Filipino singer JAN PABLO teaches Thai singer DEW THE STAR, a Filipino song. This was held during their tour inside the PHA THAT LUANG Temple National landmark after their 1st ASEAN CONCERT in Laos last June 19-23, 2012 Jan Pablo started as a performer at age 6 when his cousins would direct stage plays in their former compound in Pasay City Philippines. They would perform for their clan staging presentations ranging from the Passion of Jesus Christ, horror stories for Holloween and many more. He explored his artistic talents by joining Church Choirs and placing his voice under baritone and bass. Jan Pablo also focused his expertise in martial arts studying Shaolin Kung fu from various Masters and Aikido by reading books and interacting with many Sensei He became serious with his passion in performing by taking up Theater Arts at the University of the Philippines. He was trained not just in the performance side but also in the technical aspects of presentations such as stage design, production management, etc..While in theater he also ventured himself in the world of film and television ranging his talents from acting, singing, and doing stunt works and martial arts choreography. He also took a Broadcast Communication course at Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He took film related courses from the Film Academy of the Philippines and MOWELFUND and was also trained in directing at the International Institute for Film and Arts headed by veteran commercial and film directors such as Steven Spielberg protege Matthew Rosen, multi awarded international tvc director Crispo Mojica, veteran stage and film director Dennis Marasigan, to name a few. From time to time, he refreshes his skills by attending seminars and events in the local and international film and music scenes. For music, he has regular gigs in local pubs around the metropolis. He also sings in local events such as weddings, debut, funerals, corporate shows and other events. He also became a publicist for a local band called the Members band formerly under Dyna Music Philippines. He is on his way for his first music album. For films and television,His first stint was with Cannes Film Festival Best Director Brillante Mendoza and Philip Espina's horror film "Siquijor" as the studious student. He also started working as assistant to the production designer Cyrus Khan for various projects, and later on was pulled as an extra of "One Percent Full" a local /international film produced by Action star Ronnie Ricketts and Hollywood Fight Director and Producer Burton Richardson. He later on landed bandit roles in an action packed Hollywood B-Movie "Road Raiders". He recalls using guns and swords and jumping off from rock to rock in the waterfalls scene and other explosive and action packed scenes. Jan Pablo is also a member of the prestige stunt team of Fernando Poe Jr., the ALAS STUNTS. He founded his own stunt team, the JPST -JAN PABLO STUNT TEAM, and his own productions and promotions company SCREWRUTZ PRODUCTIONS. He continues to appear for various roles in theater, film and television shows and supplies talents to theater, film, television and commercials. Jan Pablo says that he is not just a performer, but he also aware of the technical and business side of show business. .
