At Moeggesukkel, we currently care for 45 men and women at two different properties in Centurion, Gauteng. Each one of the people cared for by Moeggesukkel come from a unique background and set of circumstanced that led them to a point of total despair and loss of hope in life. Their backgrounds include things such as unassisted single parents, child abuse, rape, broken homes, traumatic loss of loved ones that led to conditions of low self esteem, feeling rejected, drug and alcohol abuse and self destructive habits. Each of the 45 people cared for by Moeggesukkel in both houses are currently provided with accommodation, food, studies or employment, skill development training, clothing, bible studies and a strong network of emotional support. It is also part of the Moeggesukkel vision that in the near future each Individual in a moeggesukkel home will also be provided with medical care, dentistry, optometry, transport, computer and internet facilities, gym and sport activities. Moeggesukkel is a non-profitable company focusing on uplifting and reconciling people who are "moeggesukkel" back into society with Christian values and leadership skills. Moeggesukkel aims to equip each individual with the necessary tools to reach new heights in every aspect of their lives with Jesus as the cornerstone. Firstly when a person comes to Moeggesukkel, attention is focused on addressing each person's immediate basic needs. We then focus on the individual by further assessing their current situation as well as the person's history to establish which values, habits and thinking patterns need to be improved. We train and teach biblical, financial and various principles to equip each person in their character development journey to best enable them to achieve success in all aspects of life. From here we assist the individuals to enter into the workplace where he/she now has a new start and opportunity to provide for themselves, meet their social and financial obligations and become positive contributors to society. As soon as each Individual is earning an income, they receive practical financial guidance and learn stewardship principles which allow them in return to be a blessing to others. Moeggesukkel plows its profits back into society by getting involved with various community uplifting projects such as feeding schemes, basic necessities provision and many more. Moeggesukkel also creates awareness and reaches out to local communities by distributing complimentary gifts and simultaneously this creates opportunities to spread the positive message to the people we meet. Should you feel inspired to become part of this humble effort you will share in the blessing of the principle "reaping what you sow" and you too will experience God at work and achieve new heights in your daily life. If you are interested in getting involved with one or more of the various projects we would greatly appreciate your contribution in any of the following ways: - Outsourcing to Moeggesukkel (Outsource your personal or company requirements to Moeggesukkel) - Sponsorships towards workshop tools, catering equipment, computers and photographic equipment, vehicles, motorcycles or any tools specific to skills development projects or community uplifting projects. - Study Bursaries (Help a bright & willing Moeggesukkel candidate to develop their career) - Career Apprenticeships (assist with the teaching of new and specialized skills in a trade or professional sector) - Contributions of basic necessities (Food, Clothing, Bedding, Finances, Petrol, healthcare, etc.) - Your personal time, input, recourses and skills.
